Fated to Love You's OTP together again!

After 7 episodes of continuous angst and emotional torture, our Snail Couple finally reunites and it feels so good.

Episode 18 of Fated To Love You was filled with cute and fun OTP scenes and I couldn't be happier... 

It started with the much-anticipated reunion of Mi Young and Lee Gun (with MY finally finding out the truth) that ended with a tearful and passionate kiss initiated by the once-shy and quiet MY. Looks like she learned a thing or two in France.

It was such a great scene deterred slightly by the fact that they're surrounded by the press and their noisy cameras' non stop clicking, it could have been better if it was intimate and just the two of them.

Next, they (finally!) talked it out and cleared all the misunderstandings between them. They also had dinner, with MY getting her revenge through pinch cheek, and they head on to the bedroom which at first is awkward then got a lot more awkward when Gun, bless his heart, tried to get a little sugar from MY; the awkward part is when he has to spell it out first (Gun: K-I-double-S) instead of just going for it when it's obvious that MY wants him to.

And alas, they ended up just sleeping because of Manager Tak's awfully-timed phone call. Grrr!!

Mi Young had the chance to comfort Gun when he read his dad's journal and finding out that his dad loved him and his mom after all by choosing to be the noble idiot and leave to spare them the pain. This made Gun realized that he's thankful for MY for always being there for him and she thanked him right back for accepting her feelings.

They asked Grandma Wang together for her blessing but she will only give them hers if MY's mom gives her blessing to them first. Grandma also encourages them to just elope already, like what kids did back in her day. Lol!

And, as if I didn't love Grandma Wang already, she also takes over the family business in Gun's place so he can have his well-earned vacation which means more alone time for our Snail couple.

Since they failed to get Mom's blessing for their relationship and Gun is not allowed back in the family house (without the blessing), they instead stay at Ji Yeon's house with JY staying at Gun's as an exchange. 

So, our Snail couple spends the rest of the day cleaning up, making the house more homey and just generally being all cute and sweet with each other.

 

And the episode ends with MY promising that she'll stay by Gun's side forever, ala super glue, and they seal the promise with a kiss.
