With Richard
and Maya setting off on a road trip to Ilocos Norte, they enlist Manang Fe’s
help to take care of the kids while they’re away.
Richard tells
Maya that they’re gonna stop by his friend’s house (Mr. Ventura) because he graciously
lent his car so they could use it for the rough roads (to maximize their trip)
which makes Maya more excited.
To prevent Richard
from falling asleep, Maya happily tells stories about their twins, Sky and
Sunshine. But, she’s the one who ends up sleeping anyway and a call from Kute
wakes her up.
Kute chides
Maya but Richard assures him that he’s prepared; he had a long sleep yesterday.
Maya tells Richard that she’s gonna miss Kute once he leaves for his job and
Richard jokes that he wishes their twins won’t get that from her; her being a “best
actress” (since she’s very dramatic). Lol!
They stop
driving to take pictures and Maya, while looking at a bridge, reminisces about
the time they met on Jones Bridge. It’s here that Richard reveals that he came
back because he was worried about her. In response, Maya excitedly hugs him.
They take pictures
as they talk more about the past and we’re shown clips from their start of
their rocky but very cute love story. They continue driving using Mr. Ventura’s
SUV.
Back at the
Lim’s house, everyone teaches the twins the ‘Kapit Bisig”. The kids call their
parents to tell them that the twins learned how to Kapit Bisig.
As the couple
tours the town they reminisce about the past and cue more clips. Maya gets
giddy about the time Richard serenaded her.
Next, they
take a carriage ride around the town and back. They reminisce about their trip
to Baguio specifically:
Maya: “Sir, what
qualities are you looking for in a woman?”
Richard: “You!”
Maya shares
at that time she got scared because everyone was starting to find out that she
was falling for him while Richard says that it’s a good thing he talked to Manang
Fe because it made him realized that he was already falling for her.
Maya is thankful
for Manang Fe since she became their fairy godmother. They reminisce about
their courtship some more.
Next, they
drive to Paoay Church where Richard promises that on their silver wedding
anniversary, they’ll renew their vows at this church. Maya gets teary-eyed just
thinking about it while Richard reminisces about the time he proposed.
Maya thanks
Richard for the present he gave her right before they got married:
Richard: “Which
one?”
Maya: “When
you looked for my dad.”
They head to
their hotel room next which makes them reminisce about their honeymoon in
Japan. And the episode ends with them making love (off-screen of course).
