Episode
8 Snark Recap
Pink
Panda: The Gutz family gets prepped for a group photo shoot and
after when they check the pictures they notice that Mom Annabelle is on the
heavy side
Chunkie:
So,
Ruffa suggests that they should hire a personal trainer to help her lose weight
by working out
Pink
Panda: The next day, Annabelle heads to Richard’s gym, Ultimate
Fitness. But, she’s not there to work out and she just came by to tell them
that.
Chunkie: Annabelle
cites her swollen legs as her excuse but also comes up with a lot more when
Ruffa persuades her to try and work out anyway.
Pink
Panda: It’s a no-go with the trainer and Annabelle leaves.
Chunkie:
Next,
they go to Paradizoo in Tagaytay to promote the place so Annabelle can
exercise a little bit.
Pink
Panda: While Grandparents Annabelle and Eddie bond with the
grandkids, Richard with Sarah and Ruffa try to milk the goats.
Chunkie: During
the tour, they learn about the process of making honey and what happens when
the honey bees mate.
Pink
Panda: It’s not a happy ending for the male bees since their
only purpose is to mate with the queen bee and then they die.
Chunkie:
Lorin
and Venice ride horses with Mom Ruffa guiding them while talking about her
lovelife again. Oy! Is that the only thing she ever talks about with her kids?
Pink
Panda: Lorin chides her to not have any more kids because she
thinks they’re fine with the way things are
Chunkie: While
Venice wants her to have more babies since babies are really cute.
Pink
Panda: Later, the sisters talk privately with Lorin voicing out
her disapproval
Chunkie:
I
like how Lorin is already mature for her age; she wants her mom to be happy of
course but she thinks that they don’t need any more addition to the family
since “the Gutierrez family is big enough already” and she knows that no matter
what she says, she can’t stop Ruffa from doing what she wants.
Pink
Panda: And also I think she’s adamantly against it because she
knows Ruffa is really fickle and she admitted it herself that she changes her
mind every week.
Chunkie: Richard
and Sarah have some alone time together. They ride the cable car as they talk
about planning their wedding and other future plans.
Pink
Panda: The next day, Ruffa visits her friend Alice Eduardo, the
owner of Sta. Elena Construction Company. Just because?
Chunkie:
For
publicity, of course.
Pink
Panda: Ruffa, in confessionals, says she looks up to Alice and
wants to be like her; a kind, hardworking and genuine go-getter. She asks Alice
how to become like her so that she could quit showbiz and become a
businesswoman like her instead.
Chunkie: Ha,
like she would ever quit showbiz; the woman loves attention.
Pink
Panda: Next up, Annabelle’s birthday party and a lot of family
and friends are in attendance including Ruffa’s new beau Jordan.
Chunkie:
Eddie
gives a warm and heartfelt message for Annabelle who gives a speech; she still
can’t believe that she got to marry Eddie Gutierrez and even had 6 kids with
him.
Pink
Panda: And that is where her speech should have ended but
Annabelle, being the crude talker that she is, deviates the attention to Ruffa
when she compares how hard-working Eddie is to Ruffa’s ex-boyfriends who weren’t
(while also implying that her current bf, Jordan, is no different from her past
bfs)
Chunkie: Ruffa,
embarrassed and furious, walks out with Jordan as she curses up a storm. In
confessional, Ruffa can’t believe that her mom would do that especially since
they’ve already made up
Pink
Panda: While she’s still swearing off, Jordan just stays silent
since he didn’t understand what just happened. Aw, poor guy!
Chunkie:
Richard
with Sarah and Raymond steps out for a while and talk about how they all feel
sorry for Jordan because he’s a really nice guy who didn’t deserve all those
harsh words
Pink
Panda: In confessional, Annabelle admits that she didn’t feel
anything when Ruffa walked out of her party since she didn’t do anything wrong
and thinks she didn’t have to apologize for what she said
