Episode 95: The Big Impact
A reversal from yesterday’s episode; now Max visits Nicole
while Adrian goes to see Monica.
Max invites Nicole out for a drink. He gives it to her
straight; she should just give up on pursuing Adrian because he still loves
Monica. But, of course, she’s stubborn as ever; she’s not gonna give up without
a fight even while knowing that Monica and Arian still love each other. Ugh!
This girl.
On a rooftop, Monica tells Adrian that they’re going back to
America after the annulment is settled. Nooo! Adrian: “Will that make you
happy?” Monica: “I hope so”
Javier lies to the police that he didn’t know who shot him
because the suspect was wearing a face mask. The police are unsure whether to
believe him because some witnesses told them that they saw a suspicious man
drag him away from the party. Javier: “Who are you gonna believe, the witnesses
or the victim?” Nice!
Nicole, while driving, relives what Adrian and Max told her;
that Adrian would never love her. Girl, listen to them!
Dante is in a mountain hill somewhere (the infamous one from
Walang Hanggan??). He’s thinking about the past with Eloisa and Monica when
they were all happy together. Just then, Eloisa arrives to see him. She tells
him that it’s not too late for him to be happy; he has a family, Nicole and
Jacob. Dante: “I love you.” Eloisa: “I know, I love you too but as a beautiful
memory of the past and as a friend.” Ouch. Total Friendzone.
Javier apologizes to Monica for being a cause of her
misfortunes but she never blamed him. Javier: “It’s hard to forgive, because
what your heart and mind tells you are always different. So whatever you
decide, make sure that it’s not something that you will ever regret.”
Adrian has the annulment papers in hand. Noo! He removes his
wedding ring and kisses it. It’s a sign that he’s letting go.
He looks at old family albums, his mom Sandra talks to him
and tells him that she’s worried about him. He replies that he’s okay; he will
never stop loving Monica, he vowed when they got married that he would give her
anything she wants, he just never expected that she’ll ask him for her freedom. Sandra: “I’ll always be here for you. You
will never be alone.”
Nicole tells Rowena that she’s happy, Adrian is not gonna
fight the annulment anymore. She now has the chance to be the Legal Wife.
Rowena slaps her really hard. Yeah!!
She tells her that she always wanted to do that, to slap
some sense into her. Suddenly, Rowena’s water broke, she’s going in labor.
Before they go to the hospital, she tells Nicole that after she gives birth,
she doesn’t want to see her anymore.
Adrian tells Monica that he’s giving her what she wants;
he’s done fighting the annulment. Since this is his entire fault, he’s gonna
grant her freedom. He loves her and all he wants is for her to be happy. But
Monica tells him otherwise; she doesn’t want him to think that he’s saving her,
this is her decision and she’s the one who’s giving herself freedom, not him.
Adrian hopes she becomes happy because if not, he might
forever regret letting her go. He starts tearing up and he grabs her for an
emotional hug.
