Episode 4 Snark Recap
Pink
Panda: Here we are again, with the most undramatic reality show
on TV. Seriously though, there’s more family drama off screen than in the
actual episodes.
Chunkie:
Tell
me about it! There was so much tabloid fodder and drama surrounding Baby Zion’s
christening party, that was held recently, than with all 4 episodes of this crappy show
combined.
Pink
Panda: Maybe next season, they should just cast the Lahbati’s.
Chunkie:
But
that would mean, less screen time for Ruffa. We cannot let that happen.
Pink
Panda: OMG! You’re right! Because we would rather hear Ruffa
talk and talk and talk about herself than watch anything even remotely
entertaining.
Chunkie:
Good
thing, this episode starts with Annabelle’s confessional.
Pink Panda: Annabelle: ‘I needed to taste him(Eddie), he’s handsomeness always makes my panties drop.’ Hahaha!
Chunkie:
It’s
even funnier in Tagalog.
Pink
Panda: “Kailangan ko syang matikman, makalaglag panty talaga si
Eddie, kahit dati pa” This is why I love her!
Chunkie:
She
talks about how she used to be really shy but when it comes to Eddie, she
becomes fearless and shameless.
Pink
Panda: The married couple enjoys their breakfast on the ship and
they’re discussing about marriage. Specifically, a possible marriage between Richard and
Sarah.
Chunkie:
Annabelle
thinks that they’re not ready to get married yet. But, Eddie thinks they are.
Pink Panda: She has a point though and she explains to him that if they ever get separated or annulled, Zion and any future kids will suffer the most.
Chunkie: Meanwhile, Richard and Sarah are spending some quality time with Baby Z.
Pink Panda: Aww! He has some really tiny and really cute baby clothes.
Chunkie: Ruffa, in confessional, wonders which one of her siblings(Richard or Elvis) will get married first?
Chunkie: Ruffa, in confessional, wonders which one of her siblings(Richard or Elvis) will get married first?
Pink
Panda: /crickets
Chunkie:
The
Gutierrez’s first stop in their vacation trip is Phuket,Thailand and they start
with an elephant safari adventure.
Pink
Panda: The first thing Ruffa asks when they arrive is if the place
has Wi-Fi. She explains that she doesn’t want to be disconnected
from the world.
Chunkie: *facepalm* It’s
a half-day safari trip, not a week-long excursion in a jungle.
Pink
Panda: Yeah! I don’t even know if she sometimes hears the things
coming out of her mouth.
Chunkie:
Well,
she and Richard didn’t even enjoy the elephant show so they decided to cancel
the elephant ride. Instead, they try the fish spa therapy.
Pink
Panda: Annabelle goes back to the ship with Baby Z while the
rest of the family members go to the beach for some jet skiing and swimming.
Chunkie:
In
the evening, everyone dresses up for the big gala night on the ship.
Pink
Panda: Sarah, Richard and Raymond talk about Elvis and his
girlfriend Alexa(also on the trip) who is apparently pregnant. They wonder if it’s a boy or a
girl.
Chunkie:
Raymond
also wonders what Baby Z’s first product endorsement is gonna be? Doesn't matter,
all he wants is a pay cut....and cue his fake laugh.
Pink
Panda: His fake, and also very pretentious, laugh is really annoying.
Chunkie:
As
annoying as Ruffa’s?
Pink
Panda: Definitely!!! But Ruffa’s laugh is less forced and
awkward.
Chunkie: On the actual gala, the
clan takes pictures and they mingle with the other guests. Then, the next day,
they head to Malaysia; their second vacation stop.
Pink
Panda: They go to a Batik factory and try making/designing
Batiks themselves.
Chunkie:
Afterwards,
they head to their next destination but their bus is having an engine problem
and also it’s out of gas.
Pink
Panda: So, they go to a nearby clothes shop and Raymond tries on
some shirts.
Chunkie:
Every
time he tries one on, he asks everyone for an opinion which he’s entitled to
but the way he does it screams attention-seeking.
Pink
Panda: He even asks their tour guide what she thinks, she just
tells him that she likes it but it’s obvious that she’s kind of irritated.
Chunkie:
Well,
I would be too if I keep hearing this:
Raymond: Hey, EVERYONE what do you think? Does it look
nice on me? Does it look flattering? Should I get the other one? Or should I
try the blue one? Do you like it? Should I - - - - blah blah blah blah…...
Pink
Panda: All I heard was: “Hey, look at me everyone, give me all your
attention.”
Chunkie:
/sidebar/ that might not have been what
transpired but that was how we interpreted the scene
Pink
Panda: The bus’ engine is still acting up so they get stuck in
the store. Basically, more attention seeking from Raymond
Pink
Panda: It annoys me that we had more screen time of the bus’
engine than Eddie. Did we really need to see the engine that much?
Chunkie:
The
guys play hoops(minus Raymond of course) in the ships’ basketball court.
Pink
Panda: Was that an intentional shade?
Chunkie:
Sort-of,
but Raymond really wasn’t playing basketball with them.
Pink
Panda: A while later, they rest and have the marriage talk. Richard
asks Elvis if he’s planning on getting married now that he has a baby on the
way with Alexa while he, in turn, and the other guys, grill him about Sarah and
are they also planning to get married soon?
Chunkie:
Ruffa
also has the marriage talk with Alexa over gelato.
Pink
Panda: She advises her, about pregnancy, to get a caesarian or C-section.
So that Alexa could get a tummy tuck after and she wouldn’t poop while giving
birth.
Chunkie:
Ewww!
Why would you talk about feces while eating ice cream.
Pink
Panda: Told you! She really doesn’t hear the things coming out
of her own mouth.
