Ruffa
is staying away from Mom Annabelle because ‘they’re trying to be civil with
each other’. And she intentionally didn’t even Jordan to avoid trouble.
Pink
Panda: This is the second year Sarah is spending with the Gutz
family and apparently, the issue between her mom and Annabelle hasn’t been
resolved.

Panda: Eddie is at the Alabang Country Club golfing with his
same-age male friends.
Chunkie:
Uhm,
are they using elevator music as the bgm? It makes this scene so weird.

about his bad knee.

Be Careful With My Heart Episode 618 (Final 5 Days) Reaction-Recap
I can’t believe
that this show is finally ending or that ABS-CBN is actually ending the show
that dominated the morning timeslot for over 2 years. But, it’s for the best
since Be Careful With My Heart definitely overstayed its welcome.

It takes gutz to be a Gutierrez: Episode 7 (Season 2)
Episode
7 Snark Recap
Pink
Panda: Elvis, in the car with Lorin and Venice, wonders how the
girls know so much about boys.
Chunkie:
Well,
their mom Ruffa only ever talks about her lovelife so I guess that answers his
question.
Pink

so is Grandmother Annabelle who shares a story; the time she gave birth to
Elvis

A to Z (NBC-2014) Episode 7: “G is for Geronimo”
It’s a shame that
this show’s been prematurely cancelled since I like it a lot but I understand
NBC’s decision since A to Z is not
bringing in the ratings. Atleast, they’re still airing the rest of the episodes
ordered to give us fans a closure.
Frankly, I
wanted to love this show as much as I loved HIMYM for the sake of Cristin Milioti but the episodes would
alternate from great or okay or forgettable. In fact, Episode 7 is the first ep
since the pilot that I considered great and would rewatch again and again.

Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara reunite in 'Old Goodbye'
There’s not a single Korean drama I’m watching right now
that’s making me excited and hooked like Fated
to Love You did so checking Drama Fire’s site and seeing that they already
have the much-anticipated drama special Old
Goodbye out and fully subbed makes me want to jump for joy. I have yet to
watch it but I know it’s a sure way to cure my FTLY withdrawals.

Episode
5 Snark Recap
Pink
Panda: The clan is back in Manila after their family vacation
in Cebu. Ruffa’s kids tease her that she’s blooming lately, which, of course,
means that she has a new beau.
Chunkie:
She
defensively tells them that “Jordan” and she are just friends but we know
better.

Episode
4 Snark Recap
Pink
Panda: We’re shown Raymond’s personal videos in Cebu where he
declares that he hates nature for ruining his skin.
Chunkie:
And,
I’m just here wondering why he had to film himself in the first place.
Pink
Panda: Especially if all he does is whine (about hating everything)?
Chunkie: Exactly!

Current Obsession: Liar Game Series
Who knew that a show I watched completely out of boredom would turn out to be one of my favorite shows (ever!!) and ultimately my favorite Japanese Drama or Dorama (of all time!).
I watched the first episode because I really had nothing better to do and before I knew it, I got hooked just 2 episodes in and there was no going back.

Episode
2 Snark Recap
Pink
Panda: Raymond is in London with BFF’s Liz and Laureen Uy while
Richard is in Italy for the WDW 2014.
Chunkie:
I
totally forgot how shrill Laureen’s voice is until she spoke. I always mute my
TV every time that WeChat commercial of hers comes on.

How I Met Your Mother Alternate Ending
The ‘alternate’ series ending for HIMYM was sloppily
edited and made just to appease fans (like myself) who hated the original
ending yet I still loved it because it was the ending I wanted from the start.

She has always been great, and in fact, she's one of Star Cinema's most bankable actresses with superior acting chops to boot. She has done 15 SC films and I've watched 11 of them so, like I did before, just for fun, here is my ranking of her Star Cinema films from worst to best:

A to Z (NBC - 2014) First Impressions
Out of all
the new US shows premiering this season, “A to Z” is the only one that got me
really excited and it was solely because of Cristin Milioti (who is widely
known as ‘the best thing about HIMYM’s final season’).
I just love
her so much that I would watch anything she’s in, even if it’s a total crapfest,
but luckily the pilot episode (titled: "A is for Acquaintances") of A to Z was delightfully zippy, charming and
fun.

Barely Legal Pawn with Mr. White and Cap'n Cook
I'm almost done marathoning Breaking Bad and this hilarious promo ad (for the Emmys) by co-stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul (with Veep's Julia Louis-Dreyfus) is just one of the highlights of binge-watching such an excellent show that's already done airing.
My only complaint is why is this only 6 minutes long? If this was a real show, I'll surely watch the heck out of it.

'The Gifted' aka 'No Other Woman 2.0'
"The Gifted" is about two girls who are gifted
with extremely high IQ, the fat kid, Zoe Tuazon (Anne Curtis) and the nerd, Aica Tabayoyong (Cristine Reyes). They are the best of friends until campus
heartthrob, Mark Ferrer (Sam Milby)
comes in between them! Soon enough, Zoe and Aica have parted ways.
And the question is: Will their friendship be mended or will this cause more trouble?
Judging from the (overly narrated) trailer, it’s the latter, obviously!

JasMINE The Series (TV5 – 2014) Episode 9 (Final) Recap
I couldn’t
decide whether to recap this last episode in full or just write a lengthy summary
but in the end, I chose the former mainly because I already recapped 8 episodes
in its entirety and no matter how disappointed I was with the execution of the
finale, I still wanted to write everything that happened. So, here we go…

JasMINE The Series (TV5 – 2014) Episode 7 Recap
This is, hands down, the best episode of Jasmine (so far). Suspense, mystery, action and even comedy, this episode has all that and more. Just I was
beginning to get uninterested, and frankly bored, this episode came at just the
right time. Why couldn't we have Robin Padilla sooner?

It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez: Episode 6
Pink
Panda: And for the last time, for the first ever season, Gutz….Gutz....Gutz….
Chunkie: It
Takes GUTZ To Be A Gutierrez!
Pink
Panda: Ugh!! It still sounds awful the 6th time
around.
Pink
Panda: Ugh!! I can’t believe that this actually got renewed?
Chunkie: Well
it’s produced by E! who also produces even crappier reality shows.
Pink
Panda: Fair point! and we have to give it to them; they managed
to produce a show that’s even worse than the KUWTK, Escape Club, Eric &
Jessie…

It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez: Episode 5
Pink
Panda: On the cruise ship, Richard and Raymond spend some time
and catch-up over lunch. Richard shares because of Baby Z; he has been watching
a lot of cartoons lately.
Chunkie:
Baby
Z’s favorite cartoon is, of course the universally loved, Mickey Mouse. Raymond:
“Why are children so attracted to that rat?” Hee!
Pink
Panda: Ruffa is with Lorin and Venice in the pool area, she asks
them(again!) if she should find a new husband(oy!!).
Chunkie The
kids want to try the big waterslide and they urge Mom to try it too. Commence
Ruffa’s whining: “It’s the biggest slide ever!!!” “I’m allergic to cold water!”

JasMINE The Series (TV5 – 2014) Episode 3 Recap
Our actress experiences the shittiest of shitty weeks and although she's trying her best to remain strong, naturally it gets the best of her, there’s only so much a girl can take.
But, despite
everything bad happening to her, she still has a group of people she can
always count on. We can now add our Inspector on that list who, little by
little, is showing signs that he’s more than just a cold and reserved officer of
the law.

It takes gutz to be a Gutierrez: Episode 4
Episode 4 Snark Recap
Pink
Panda: Here we are again, with the most undramatic reality show
on TV. Seriously though, there’s more family drama off screen than in the
actual episodes.
Chunkie:
Tell
me about it! There was so much tabloid fodder and drama surrounding Baby Zion’s
christening party, that was held recently, than with all 4 episodes of this crappy show
combined.
Pink
Panda: Maybe next season, they should just cast the Lahbati’s.
Chunkie:
But
that would mean, less screen time for Ruffa. We cannot let that happen.
Pink
Panda: OMG! You’re right! Because we would rather hear Ruffa
talk and talk and talk about herself than watch anything even remotely
entertaining.
Chunkie:
Good
thing, this episode starts with Annabelle’s confessional.

And.....we're back! Because of a production incident, this episode was delayed for a week. As a result, this episode had a few technical problems, mostly with the audio and editing. Hopefully, no more behind the scenes drama unfold over the next few weeks. *fingers crossed*
